Your business can really make a difference this year. Here at Simon On The Streets, we've got lots of great ways for you to get involved and be part of a bigger change.
By getting involved, you and your team are playing a vital role in enabling us to continue our work helping the homeless and vulnerable in our community.
Read on to find out how you can make a difference.
When you run a business, it’s always good to give back. Corporate social responsibility has been a hot topic for some time now. That’s because it’s important not just for the cause you support, but for your business.
Research shows that those companies with clear corporate social responsibility policies see huge benefits. Benefits such as higher levels of employee engagement, increased staff morale and better productivity. Ultimately, corporate social responsibility is a sound business decision.
We’ve got so many amazing ways for you and your team to get involved. They’re all:
- Ideal for teams working remotely
- Morale boosting
- All about fostering team spirit!
Here at Simon On The Streets, we believe that making a difference should be a lot of fun. Our events are designed to get you and your teams involved, and coming together (albeit virtually).
Here are just a few of the things we’re planning throughout 2021.
You and your team are invited to join us for the Little Sleep In this May. You can take part from the safety of your home. Either camp out in the garden or pitch a den in your house - anywhere as long as it's not your own bed!
Encourage your team to get creative by handing prizes to the best sleeping place, and build team spirit through a group Zoom call on the night. Make sure that you take pictures, so that you can raise your profile across your social media profiles. And don’t forget to tag us in! You can read all about the last Little Sleep In here.
More information about the event and how to register will be released soon. Keep in touch and keep your eyes peeled!
Stay healthy as a team during lockdown by walking, running or cycling for homelessness. Simply set a target number of miles and encourage your team members to contribute to the total. You can run, walk or cycle - the choice is yours!
Whether it’s completing the coast to coast or length of the UK, your team will feel a huge sense of group accomplishment!
After the success of last year, we’ll be holding Simon on the Tee again this summer. This Covid-secure outdoor event will see your team teeing off and competing against other businesses in a bid to win.
We’ll be letting you know more about this event very soon. In the meantime, find out who is the most likely team member to score a hole in one and get them on board.
2020 was a massive challenge. But thanks to you and the efforts of your business, we made it a success. Now, it’s time to make 2021 a year to remember. A year of positivity and change. A year to make a difference.
