We are joining Shelter to reflect and shine a light for those who lost lost their lives whilst homeless.
Today, the Office for National Statistics released the latest statistics estimating that 778 people in England and Wales died whilst homeless in 2019.
This is an increase of 7.2% from 2018. 72 of these were deaths in Yorkshire.
We are pausing to reflect and remember those who lost lost their lives whilst homeless.
Remembering their lives is so important, so that they don’t become another statistic. They were someone's son, daughter, mother, father, brother or sister.
We pay tribute to some of the people we have had the pleasure to know. May they now be at peace.
We will always remember you..
