We are very excited announce the opening of our first ever supported accommodation for the homeless!

We have been able to do this in partnership with Latch, Housing Leeds, Engage Leeds and Homeless Hampers.

The house will accommodate EU migrants with no recourse to public funds, who unfortunately cannot access emergency accommodation or benefits and therefore have no income.

We will be working with these individuals to see if they can achieve settled status as many have lived in and worked in the UK for several years. We can then assist them in gaining employment and further housing.

We moved our first two clients in yesterday and both shed a tear as we handed over the keys! They initially arrived in the UK to work but found themselves living on the streets after employment fell through. Holding down a job whilst living on the streets was difficult and they have been homeless for several years now: one for seven years and the other for eleven years.

A big thank you to our partner agencies who have helped us so much in setting up this house.
