In January, Tom, our overworked admin, communications and volunteer coordinator will be leaving us to embark on a 12-month adventure travelling the world. Tom has been with us, helping to drive the charity hub for the past 25 months, both in a volunteer and full-time capacity and he will most certainly be sorely missed by us all.
As a parting gesture, Tom is going to help raise funds by completing a sponsored run from Leeds to Huddersfield. This 16-mile run may not seem too much a challenge for the marathon runners amongst us but for Tom, a man who rarely gets off his office chair never mind pound the streets, it will be a great challenge and achievement.
