Simon on the Streets are delighted to announce a new member of our 5 for 5 Partnership Scheme for February. Your Engine Room is a Leeds digital marketing agency working with Northern B2B businesses. They help businesses to grow by reaching more customers through online activity.

This year, we continue to face lots of uncertainty around fundraising events. At the same time, we’ve experienced an increased need for our support on the streets. It's more important now than ever for the charity to become sustainable in the long-term.

Simon on the Streets switched to the virtual world in 2020 and we have been hosting monthly networking events for our corporate partners, creating a space in which they can network with each other, but also engage with Simon on the Streets. We've been sharing ideas from local business people who are experts in their field, as well as learning about how we have all been working throughout the pandemic.

Simon on the Streets CEO, Natalie Moran, said of the new partnership:

"We're so excited to have Your Engine Room come on board as a 5 for 5 partner, and can't wait to work with their team to tackle homelessness in our local community. We’re excited to see them at our monthly 5 for 5 virtual networking events and are looking forward to working closely with the team to make a difference to people's lives.”

Speaking of the partnership, the team at Your Engine Room said:

“Our team work in Leeds and live here or close by. It’s impossible not to notice the impact of homelessness on a great many people in the city, and the UK more widely. We wanted to partner with a charity doing work to support people in ways helpful to them. The practical and emotional support Simon on the Streets provide for those who are homeless and sleeping rough is so important. It’s clear the team spend time getting to know the people they work with and understanding their situations. We wanted to help the project, which is making a difference in people’s lives, and we look forward to getting involved with voluntary action when it’s possible.”
