As you will no doubt have noticed, we have a new website! This is all thanks to the fantastic support of Parallax.
Parallax are a digital agency based in Leeds city centre. We are fortunate enough to benefit from the company’s annual charitable initiative following its employee's desire to help tackle rising homelessness.
Parallax have supported us by spending six months planning, designing and building a bespoke website for the charity worth £40,000. The new website includes key features such as integration with JustGiving to take one-off and regular and monthly donations online, as well as allowing us to easily add new content to promote corporate partnerships, events, and fundraising activities.
Dario Grandich, director of Parallax comments:
“Homelessness is obviously a big problem and we want to contribute to the solution, supporting organisations like Simon on the Streets with what we do best so that they can do what they do best.
“Our employees are keen to help solve the homelessness problem in the area. We have supported St Georges Crypt over the last few years and when a Simon on the Streets Trustee approached us for a quote to help fix the existing broken website, we knew we could help tell their story in best possible way with a new website and so we took it on as our goodwill project for 2020.
“The new website allows the charity to raise awareness and promote its work and ways to get involved.”
Fahad Khan, development manager at Simon on the Streets added:
“We cannot thank Parallax enough for building us a fantastic new website. It has enabled us to promote our events, volunteer and fundraising opportunities easily and we’ve already seen an increase in people signing up to events which we’re now able to easily upload.”
