On Wednesday 8th July Homeless Link are holding a two day Rough Sleeping Conference to share learning, inspiration and collaborative responses to tackling rough sleeping. 

Speakers will include expert representatives from central and local government, frontline homelessness and supported housing providers, as well as specialists in related sectors. 

We are very excited to announce that Natalie Moran, CEO of Simon on the Streets, will be speaking at the Rough Sleeping Conference. Natalie has been asked to discuss our work supporting women during the Covid-19 pandemic. 

Simon on the Streets has been working in partnership with St Anne’s Community Centre to support women accessing the Safe Space women-only emergency accommodation to address their needs both emotionally and practically.

At the end of last year, Simon on the Streets were awarded a grant from Homeless Link’s Ending Women’s Homelessness grants programme, funded by the Government’s Tampon Tax Fund. The funding was used to recruit two 2 new women's outreach workers, one full time and one part time, with the aim to reduce the numbers of women living on the streets,
