School or University

There are lots of different ways you can support our work.

Nominate Simon on the Streets

By nominating Simon on the Streets as a charity to support throughout the academic year, your school, college or university society could raise vital funds for us.

Sponsored days or events

Encourage students or your university society to raise funds by taking part in a sponsored walk, organising a fundraising event or holding dress up days (such as non-uniform days).

Invite us to talk to your students

We will happily come and talk about homelessness and our work in school assemblies or to classes. Please bear in mind, whilst we will do our absolute best to arrange to come and talk to you, we are a small charity and may not always be able to accommodate certain days. To find out more, please contact us

Resources

We can provide you with a number of resources to assist you with our fundraising:

  • Leaflets about the charity and our work

  • Collection tins

  • A chance to talk to the team about how your fundraising makes a difference

Fundraising Spotlight

Earlier in the year, Morgan, a Masters student at Leeds Beckett University, and her class mates hosted a charity football tournament of 5 a side games. The event also included a raffle and a social with food and drink. All the money raised was kindly donated to Simon on the Streets.

Register your own event

We want to support you to support us! If you are taking part in an organised challenge (such as a 10K run or an obstacle race) or setting your own challenge (from growing your beard to climbing a mountain) or you are running your own event (from a bake sale to a festival) then please do get in touch with us. We will offer support and help in any way we can. Thank you.
