Blue Plaques for the homeless

To mark 20 years on the streets we have, with the fantastic help and support of Leeds-based design agency Fun Agency, a marketing agency based in Leeds, launched our second street plaques awareness raising campaign.

The traditional English Heritage blue plaques remember noteworthy individuals and often mark places where they lived. Our plaques do the same for people who have slept rough. Our plaques are inspired by real life case studies, although names have been changed, and highlight some of the people we have worked with over the last twenty years.

We believe that everyone should be commemorated - particularly those who are so often forgotten about. The plaques highlight the incredibly resilient people we have worked with, who have overcome hardships and struggles we can't even imagine going through and have come through the other side.

If you see a plaque please take a picture and share it (don't forget to tag us!) to help us raise awareness and remember those on the streets.

To help you find our plaques we have created these handy maps:

20 Years on the Streets

As you may know, this year was our twentieth anniversary. On 29th November, we marked the occasion by holding two events: one to celebrate 20 years and the other to discuss the important work being done locally to support those who find themselves homeless and on the streets.
